It was a real pleasure working with you and your team. I have worked with several law firms over the years from tax to patent. All the problems I’ve seen with other firms, your team doesn’t exhibit. For example, the number one issue I’ve seen firms is disorganization or lack of coordination between team members or blame gets diverted. This is so crucial because everything revolves around hard deadlines. When working with individual lawyers, I look at the thoughtfulness or how recycled/ tailored are the arguments. We’ve contacted a few other firms in Orlando including a divorce attorney and another family law firm. The divorce attorney was very aggressive as I had expected. The family law firm lacked the experience but still wanted the job. I think the details of the argument is where your experience comes in. Paul and I genuinely appreciated various difficult scenarios we might encounter in a marriage that we had no experience with or had not even considered. I think this is where your firm shined and a lot of that was talking to you Jen. I also super appreciated how you were able to accommodate additional term I had not anticipated (sorry it was very last min). I also appreciated the clarifications on alimony was also very helpful via zoom rather than email. It was important to hear it out face to face. The mediated prenup is perfect in the sense it makes practical sense and without it being extraordinarily one sided which can end up costing a lot of money with high billable hours and hurt feelings. Several of my close friends are attorneys and they said a prenup is hard but the smart thing to do. It helps to be more level headed when getting married in your late 30s. And we are incredibly grateful to have such a good team write our prenup!
